Sadly, not everyone can be a natural born deadeye like Ernie. But that’s alright! Thanks to Hornady’s BLACK series 22 ARC ammunition, pretty much anyone can hit the long-distance targets if they really set their mind to it.
This cartridge’s 75 grain projectile is Hornady’s most accurate: the “Extremely Low Drag Match.” It’s got the Nebraskan manufacturer’s signature Advanced Manufacturing Process jacket, as well as their proprietary Heat Shield polymer tip. These features help to conserve the ELD Match’s rotational stability and velocity – both aspects of performance that are essential for true long-rage accuracy.
This ammo is brass-cased and reloadable and all that good stuff. It’s also not exclusively useful for target shooting. The ELD Match may not deliver any terminal expansion to speak of, but we wouldn’t want to cross paths with a varmint that it couldn’t obliterate on contact.
